It looks good now, but with our Offense, I say no. Detroit is alot better this season, and TB always plays us pretty good.. 4-3 at the break is what i'm saying..
I'm on board with that I was just telling my wife the same thing, I am worried about the Detroit game, we could realistically lose this game.

I think the very least Zorn needs to keep his job ((and maybe also JC) is a winning season. Looking at our schedule I think for us to get to 9-7 we probably need to get off to a 5-1 start to get to 9-7.

We need to be 4-2 at a minimum. Saw this in the Wash Post this morning - our next four opponents are 0-8 combined, their ranks in scoring defense are 32nd, 31st, 30th, and 24th respectively. If we don't start reeling off wins and lighting up the scoreboard in the process, Zorn is a goner.

Detroit will see a new, improved Redskins Offense. One that can actually score TD's.

Here's how it will work: They don't try to ball-control the game, just sling it up there for 20-30 yard TD passes. No more Red Zone, no more scoring woes.

Well, what Zorn needs to do IMO is to stop changing the philosophy as soon as we're in the shadow of the goalpost. I really just don't understand it. We move it so well outside the 20's. Why change the playcalling when we get close to scoring? It seems so backwards to me.

Do you have inside information or something, or is this just wishful thinking?

I'd love to jump in with your enthusiasm, but at what point does our offensive ineptitude become a pattern? It's not like it's 1 game, or just 2 games, or even 1 year...it's MANY years. This is a pattern and needs an overhaul.

Wow......Our next four opponents are a combined 0-8. That's frightning as hell, 0-for teams always make me nervous. We could very well be 5-1 after six games, and as long as our kicker does not miss the team bus we'll be just fine.

They say teams look good on paper, but paper does not win games in the NFL. That being said I sure hope our players do not look ahead on the schedule and point to what games we should win cause if they do we should get our ass kicked. Players say every team in the NFL can be beat why try to predict the schedule when we need to be focused on the Lions for week 3. Why predict and put more pressure on the team to win games. Did the Pats fans predict they will be 2-0 by looking at the 1st 2 games. They could have been 0-2 if the Bills did not have that fumble. The truth is the Rams are not that bad and we are not that good right now. I do see us improving week to week and thats all we can asked. Lets hope we can get the offense going and get better on defense to get more 3 and outs.
