Washington WR Rod Gardner is off to best start of career, posting 20 receptions for team-leading 313 yards. Gardner is tied for NFL lead (Terrell Owens) with three catches of at least 40 yards.
Not bad! He seems to really be on a mission to prove himself this year. I think having 3 WR's behind him with the ability to be a quality #2 or 3 WR has pushed him, and he is responding. Assuming that the offense really gets rolling soon (which I believe it will), I won't be at all surprised to see career numbers from both him and Coles.
