the booing was a function of higher expectations- that the redskins place on themselves (via hype, via ticket prices, etc). Any boos hurled by the fans were well deserved in my opinion. That is a dreadful, dreadful team (Rams) and we barely beat them. that is inexcusable, especially after last year's loss.

True, it WOULD take a big man to admit it...however, I did not hear him really apologize or admit it. It was an apology you'd expect from a politician.

I understand people having opinions on both sides of what Henson did and have decided to forgive and move on. Myself, I took personal offense being a Washingtonian -- of how dismissive he was towards the people who have supported this team forever. Some since the team played at Griffith stadium for nearly 30 years.

I don't know why this makes me so hot under the collar, but it does. I seriously don't care if Henson never sees the field as a Redskin. I wish him well in the NFL, but with another team. Not the burgundy and gold.

So lets get this straight. We draft two linebackers back to back. One of the them apparently did something less then ethical during their time in college and the other becomes a poster child for why athletes shouldn't use twitter. I guess the glass really is half full.
