Who in the hell has time to follow what someone twitts or what ever you call that.

It doesn't take anymore time that it does to check in here a million times a day.

I know I was just giving you a hard time.

Am I the only one that thinks the home fans were a complete joke yesterday?

The booing at half-time was warranted. But when the game was coming down the wire the crowd barely made a sound until the last drive. That is pathetic. Then these same idiots boo...AFTER A WIN.

Seriously? Um, we are not the Steelers. We are not the Patriots. Has it really come to this? WE ARE NOT GOOD ENOUGH TO TAKE WINS FOR GRANTED.

If you are a person who won't cheer your team when they need it but then will boo after we win, just sell your tickets to a real fan because you are an embarassment. One of the last things that this team could trumpet was fan loyalty and even that is going down the toilet.

Fans pay for their tickets, they can boo all they want. Does that make it right? Not necessarily.

The fans aren't idiots.. They're just tired of seeing this team struggle year in and year out against teams who are obviously worse than they are.

Redskins fandom is a weird thing. We'll hate you when you're bad and love you when you're good. But I think the Redskins have some of the most loyal and classiest fans you'll ever meet.

Plus, you're not taking into account that Henson basically patronized and alienated the entire Redskins fan base by saying, he makes more than we'll ever make working our 9 to 5. That is screaming Napoleon complex.

If Henson had a problem with the booing and tweeted his feelings about it with some TACT, that's okay. But the fact he was a complete douchebag, is what's getting him so much backlash.

I cant believe people are defending Henson. If you are proud as a fan, don't let some scrub who hasnt played one reg. season game with the skins tell you that you are broke idiot.

The worst part about henson is not that he called fans "dim wits" but how he talked down to fans as if they were not people. He thinks he is Gods gift to earth because he is on the team? Wow, eat some freaking humble pie asshole. Not only will I root against him as a Skin, but as a person. That is a terrible way to think about yourself and others.

Does he get any benefit for apologizing and saying he was upset that fans were throwing objects at him?

I agree with you 100%. I was ashamed to be a redskins fan yesterday, and it had nothing to do with their play. It had to do with my fellow "fans" at the game booing and throwing garbage at their team. The fans at FedEx were the worst in sports yesterday. That said, Henson's comments, especially about his salary, were WAY out of line.

Just because you have a few bad eggs, doesn't mean you throw out the whole dozen. What conspired at Fedex field, and throwing of garbage, is not representative of the Redskins fanbase as a whole, at least in my opinion. I've never seen or heard about fans doing that in the past. Hopefully people like that don't keep coming to the games or else they're going to get us a bad rep.

But the way Henson basically referred to the entire Redskins fanbase as dim wits? Yeah. Not okay. Those people who were throwing shit at him are the idiots. The rest of us wanna see him out on the field, kicking ass and winning games, as bad as I'm sure he wants to be out there.

Fans throwing stuff is pretty bad, and not justifiable. I wasn't there to see that and I would have been disappointed if I did. Was this like what happened in Cleavland? Either way, let's say he got hit. I would be upset if I were him, but that doesn't mean he needs to call out hundreds of thousands of people because some bad eggs. That really struck a nerve with me, and other skins fans.

It especially did because he didn't mention it at first. It is very immature and arrogant to start comparing salaries and lifestyles IMO. When that is done you are bad in my book regardless.

I was there and didn't see anyone throwing anything. Just lots of unhappiness with the terrible coaching and mistakes by some players. I think the "garbage" throwing is fairly isolated.

Seriously, screw Henson. He's the professional. We came to see him play, not the other way around. If your feelings were hurt, take the high road. Don't lash out at the fans. Sure, two wrongs don't make a right but don't air your feelings over the entire internet and embarrass yourself, your team, and this great city. And don't do it in such a tone, as if you earned the right to do it! That's what really get's my goat about his tweet. I could maybe take some shit like this from a Clinton Portis, a John Riggins, or a Chris Cooley. Maybe. Someone that came here and made a difference from day one. Someone that showed deference to the uniform and the rich tradition of this organization. But Robert Henson? Who in the hell are you, with no sense of Redskin tradition and pride, to come here and say that the fans are fake? You don't know shit about D.C. and how this city (and it's fans) have endured many barren years and supported this team through thick and thin.

I've seen a lot of Redskins come and go since the '80s. And I've seen many booed and many come under fire, but never have I seen a player of this organization pick a beef with the fans of this great city and make it so personal. Tweet that.

And by the way, it's okay for the fans to boo their team once in a while. Get over it.
