a few things:

he's right to call out the fans on this one... i am a fan of a lot of sports teams, and redskins fans are the most fickle, fair-weather, sky-is-falling, x player isn't good enough for this team, i'm smarter than guys who have been in this business for 30 years group of fans i've ever seen... reading forums and talking to people around town, and i am often aghast at the things people say about our team... often times, i am like, "do you even like the redskins?"...

look, this isn't the 80s... i wish it was (and not just because i love a good mustache)... this is our team, now -- let's act like it... does that mean that we shouldn't question, get frustrated, etc? no... but, who really boos a team when they win?!

when we all looked at the schedule, most of us realistically had a loss in new york and a win in this game... and it's turned out like we all thought... relax... sure, i would have liked to blow these guys out... but, we won... this is the nfl... as bad as a team is, any team can beat any team any given week... see this same match-up last season, for example...

on the bright side, the things we were most worried about going into the season have been some of our strengths -- campbell, kelly, ARE and the o-line have played very well... and play-calling, which has been atrocious for the last 10 games or so, is the easiest thing to change out of our weak spots...

henson is going to be a decent player... i saw quite a few of his college games and he's got talent... i don't blame him at all and i couldn't believe they were getting booed at the end... if portis, fletcher or santana had said this, we'd be applauding them for sticking up for the team...

that is all for my second post...

Well I don't have a tweeter account and don't want one either, but the fans should be the least of the Redskins troubles so far. I have been here from George Allen to George Gibbs 2nd coaching stint so Ive seen the good and the bad. No this team is not our worst team but Zorn has to much talent not to be a better offense. At least all the J. Campbell haters can't blame him. Robert Henson you have been here for a few months as a Redskin player so you don't know the frustration that Redskins fans have been living with for the last few season watching this offense struggle to score. Henson please work hard and help this team when you get your chance to play thats what you should focus on . Redskin fans love this team thats why it is so painful to watch this team take 2 steps forward and 3 steps back.

Dumb mistake on Henson's part. What you say and what you think shouldn't always be the same thing. Plus, the biggest mistake really is when he gets into the whole "I've already made more money than you'll ever make at your 9 to 5 McDonalds job." That was unnecessary.

I was at the game and I booed heartily. I'm not cheering 3 FG's against one of the worst defensive teams in the NFL. No one was even remotely excited after the game, it was like a loss.

I am never a fan of booing your own team, and excoriate Eagles fans for doing so, but I have to believe that the fans were booing Jim Zorn today. And Jim Zorn deserved to get booed.

The one thing I will say in his defense is that going for it twice on 4th down was the correct call. Better to have run and lost than to never have run at all as Gregg Easterbrook likes to say. The actual play call was uninspired, but the decision was ultimately correct. But man, if Donnie Avery had come up with that catch ...... oh brother. At least we did not have an eight man blitz called this time.

Absolutely not. An asshat is an asshat no matter who's doing the asshattery. Henson.Is.An.Asshat. If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, then I'm pretty sure it's a duck.

Am I the only one that thinks the home fans were a complete joke yesterday?

The booing at half-time was warranted. But when the game was coming down the wire the crowd barely made a sound until the last drive. That is pathetic. Then these same idiots boo...AFTER A WIN.

Seriously? Um, we are not the Steelers. We are not the Patriots. Has it really come to this? WE ARE NOT GOOD ENOUGH TO TAKE WINS FOR GRANTED.

If you are a person who won't cheer your team when they need it but then will boo after we win, just sell your tickets to a real fan because you are an embarassment. One of the last things that this team could trumpet was fan loyalty and even that is going down the toilet.

I think both the team and the fans need to move on from this.
