True, but then again the Jets are a team on the rise, while the Rams are on the decline/rebuilding mode track.

Well a rebuilding mode team hung toe to toe with us. As for the Jets, I do believe they started new this yr no different then Atlanta did last yr. Maybe we should be thinking Rebuild mode cause we played like a team that is. I also don't know how you say the Jets are a team on the rise? They hired a new HC cause they didn't like what they had.

I truly hope this team can turn this around and make me look stupid cause I think we all want the Skins to do great things but if the season is no different then last I'll keep saying they should look into rebuilding the team. If they could get rid of all the old dead weight on the team do it. Get younger, faster, and healthier across the board.

i agree, and i dont see how anybody on here is ok with the call to go for it on 4th down, that just blows my mind. They only needed a fg to win the game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you kick the fg and make them score a td to beat you with no timeouts.
Also when Zorn called the last timeout did you see all the confusion with his asst screaming NOOOO!! dont call it yet u fking dumbass!! let the clock run down then call it.
I think JC had a good game, but since hes been the qb weve had problems scoring. We march up and down the field and continuosly fold in the red zone. Its been our MO for a while now.If thats not Jasons fault{and im not saying it is}WHOSE FAULT IS IT?

This is my question? Where does the fault lie? I mean, I'm guessing Zorn sends in the play he wants run, JC looks over the defense, is JC changing the play? or is he running the play sent in. If he's running the play sent in then Zorn's gotta go, if it's JC changing the play then I am on the record saying I think Collins might be better at this point.

I still think some of the issue is JC throwing the ball to hard for his recievers sometimes. Especially when he needs to just finess it to them. At this point I almost would like to see game film on this day cause the tv cameras don't follow the WR's down field so you can't tell if anyone was open on any play JC dumped off to someone else.

I hope, I hope, I hope they get the scoring issue resolved, but at this point you have to wonder what has to change to fix the problem. What ever they are doing now is not working. Especially with all the weapons we have.

Our problem is what has been already touched upon in numerous posts on numerous threads, and that is we do not have the personnel for the running of a WCO offense. Some newbie in the preseason started that thread on Zorn needing to get "his" QB for his system. Most folks nailed him wrongfully for coming off as being a JC hater. I think the guy had a legit point though. Moss and ARE were acquired for the Gibbs offense as was Lloyd. Rod Gardner was a Spurrier guy. JC was drafted for the Gibbs offense as well. Basically it is like trying to fit square blocks into round holes. That is one of the main reasons our Wr corp sucks so bad now.

Might not be that complicated. Maybe Zorn just can't coach.

Snyder needs to get his ass out of the toilet and stick with a HC and let the HC work woth the GM and the scouting staff to assemble guys that will best fit his system or at least adapt to it, although you would think any WR could be adaptable to any system. It just baffles me that we can't get any real production out of our Wr corp on a steady basis. I was hoping ARE was going to bust out after last weekend. I was wrong.

True, his playcalling and time management are also baffling, but our execution has a lot to be desired as well, especailly from the WRs. Moss and ARE need to be let go and not resigned. But yeah, Zorn looks to be in over his head.

By the way, since I know a lot of people are in this thread and not the offensive line depth thread, Redskins report says Randy Thomas is out for the season with the tricep injury.

It is already starting and it is only game #2. Half our line will be gone by week #7 probably, and we will have scrubs in.

I'm fine with the decision to go for it on 4th & 1 at the GL. The playcall was shit, but the decision was fine. Let's say we kick the FG, now the Rams run it back to the 35 or 40 yd line. They've still got about 1:20 or so, anything can happen from there, pass interference, blown coverage, etc.. It's much harder to drive from the -1 yd line to the +30 and then kick a FG, than go from the -35 to score a TD.

Oh yeah, and if you get the TD on 4th & goal the game is over.

i think JC doesnt look good if his first read is not open, it takes a perfect play call and him actually takin a chance for things to click. if his 1st read isnt open we all know what happens . . . . he checks down (which i guess technically is the right read but i wish he would take more chances)
