Ok, so I didn't want to put the word Racism in the thread title in hopes the topic would stay sane, however, it sure seems like somebody at Yahoo must have been following several of the Warpath's off topic threads:

Dueling 'racist' claims defuse once powerful word - Yahoo! News (http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090917/ap_on_re_us/us_crying_racism)

I think it's a well thought out article describing the current use of racism as throwaway line to demean someone's political stance.

The term Nazi has also become the same petty political insult. When people spend 8 years calling an American President a Nazi because they disagree with him, then the Speaker of the House throws out the term to try to silence anyone "daring" to stand up an voice an opposing opinion at a Town Hall...the memories of history and what the term REALLY means has sadly been forgotten.

Well put ! Not knowing your history will lead to repeating the same mistakes in the future . I never had a problem with opposition to GB , but calling him Nazi , and running to Cuba and Ven. to take photos with the likes of Castro and Hugo is anti- American to me .
