Skins - 17 Rams - 13 SouperMeister 09-16-2009, 02:39 PM Skins 30 Rams 13 More than anything, I want to see Zorn/Campbell get Kelly/Thomas/Davis involved in the offense. If we continue to get nothing from them as we did last week, I don't see how we finish better than 8-8. 53Fan 09-16-2009, 02:41 PM Skins 24 Lambs 7 Believe. I do! I do! Redskins - 20 Rams - 6 over the mountain 09-16-2009, 02:46 PM if the rams still have that dirty playin guard incognito i would like to predict the skins didnt forget his antics from last year and lay his punk &%* out . . . . a few times. skins 23 rams 17 go skins!! irish 09-16-2009, 02:46 PM Skins 17 Rams 14. Skins are not capable of putting down a lesser opponent. Keep it close to the last seconds, as usual. I agree with the score and comment. dmek25 09-16-2009, 02:49 PM we are going to need the moderators at their best if the skins lose this game. certain people might need a little time out. skins- 28 rams-10 Trample the Elderly 09-16-2009, 02:56 PM if the rams still have that dirty playin guard incognito i would like to predict the skins didnt forget his antics from last year and lay his punk &%* out . . . . a few times. skins 23 rams 17 go skins!! Maybe a late Brown miss or Suisham make... SC Skins Fan 09-16-2009, 03:14 PM Skins win this week, 21-13. Moving forward they go on a mini-run with the next five games all coming against beatable opponents. Things look up in D.C., but only briefly. The second half of the season, against stronger competition, the offense continues to prove unimaginative and inconsistent. Campbell puts up numbers consistent with his performance in 2008, but continues to look too hesitant in the pocket (despite GTripp's furious protestations to the contrary). The defense regresses to the mean and does not perform nearly as well as they did last year when they were excellent on third down (but mediocre on the first two). They give up too many easy throws and prove unable to get off the field (a la 2006). After starting 4-2 the Skins sputter to a 4-6 finish in the final ten games. After beating Dallas at home in week 16 they have an outside shot at the playoffs but lose to San Diego, a team that is resting most of its starters for the playoffs. Zorn and Campbell are both shown the door, even though it was Vinny and Dan's fault for bringing in an offensive style that did not fit their talent in the first place. Campbell goes to Carolina and finally enjoys consistent success on a run-first team, with lots of play action, and a commitment to the vertical passing game. Zorn opens a outdoor outfitter store and never returns to football. Finishing 8-8 and lacking a top draft pick the front office is forced to mortgage years of draft picks to move into position to draft Colt McCoy (or whoever) but Snyder is certain that it is worth it because Mark Sanchez took the Jets to the playoffs. But in giving up multiple picks the Skins return to a cycle of undervaluing the draft and continue to struggle while ownership wonders why. jamf 09-16-2009, 03:33 PM Redskins: 11 Rams: 2 It's going to be a crappy game... |
