I do have something nice to say about Hall, and that's the fact that he's pretty good at not getting beat deep. Even the best receivers in the league can't really get behind him.
Due to this, bad quarterbacks do struggle a LOT against DeAngelo Hall. Not being able to complete a pass against him is a pretty good indication that a quarterback doesn't have "the goods".
Next 5 weeks, the best quarterback we face is Byron Leftwich, assuming he's healthy. Delhomme, Cassel, Bulger, and Stafford all sort of suck in their own ways.
I don't think Bulger sucks. He's a capable NFL QB if he's got good players around him. He's just on a bad team. Delhomme? He sucks. Real bad.

Everyone needs to give Hall a few weeks. He played a bad game. It's not the end of the world. I wouldn't have given him all that money but let's see how he plays the next few weeks. Let's hope he rebounds.

Well we won't see Bulger improvise. But he's shown that if he's got people around him he can play at a high level. But he's certainly not going to carry an offense. I'd say he's an average NFL QB that's playing on a bad team. On a side note I think Steven Jackson is one of the best backs in the league but he's stuck in STL. Put him on Minn and you might see him put up numbers like AP does.

Jackson is pretty great, and especially effective in the passing game.

Not a great game again by DeAngelo Hall. Beat for a TD. Had a few balls caught on him again. Not a terrible game but not a very good one either for a "50 Million Dollar CB." Or whatever he got.

And not a great game by Rogers who is supposed to be playing for a contract extension or free agency money. I'm disappointed with these two, I thought they'd be a good CB tandem.
Is it just me or were the DBs giving the WRs a lot of room again?

They are giving a TON of room to virtually unknown WR's like the ones yesterday.
