Seems like the new Court has a big case (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Citizens_United_v._Federal_Election_Commission) on its hands. Anyone else following this case (audio of the oral argument (http://www-tc.pbs.org/newshour/rss/media/2009/09/09/09092009_fullscotusarugment.mp3))? What do you guys think of the case?

This is the first I've heard of it, which is really sad.
I'll now listen and leave a comment later but they lost me at "our creator..." as I'm an atheist.
Very interesting times to be living in, for sure.
Thanks for posting it.

This is one of the most important cases regarding campaign finance and corporate free speech in our political system. The big question is whether the court will strike down free speech limits on corporations altogether and strength their personhood. The NRA and ACLU filed amicus curiae briefs in support of Citizens United.
