I voted Chase Daniel. Chase would not make a difference on the roster this year but Campbell is in a contract year. Collins is near retirement. A year of seasoning and he could compete for the starting position. The Redskins took a calculated risk of cutting him with the intention of signing him to the practice squad. That backfired. Losing Colt Brennan to Injured Reserve seemed to me the perfect opportunity to keep Chase. Chase will eventually start in the NFL. He has quarterback instincts a lot of quarterbacks wish they had. Only knock on him is his height. He will be tutoring behind another small quarterback, Drew Brees.

Dixon and Daniel were the bright spots of training camp. Bridges would've looked good as depth, but not sure how good he would ha played. None of these guys would have seen the field unless two guys ahead of them went down...

Rayner, so we could get rid of Shaun Suishams pitiful arse.

I get the hate for Suisham, but I'm still really struggling with all this love for Dave Rayner. Seriously, this guy is much LESS accurate than even Suisham. I guess people just want change for change's sake, but picking up a Matt Bryant, or even giving Suisham another year are both better options than keeping a guy who hits a whopping 68% from 30-39 yards.

To get back on topic, though, I voted for Aldridge. I would have rather had him or Dorsey just for the punt return speed/change of pace back role than Marcus "Ladell Betts II" Mason. In the end, it's not really that big of a deal as I doubt we can realistically dress 5 running backs for a game, so none of them would have had much playing time anyway. All in all, I'm just psyched for the start of the season. :woot:

It's simple, he's not Suisham.

Personally I'm willing to give Suisham this year to show he can bounce back, if he doesn't I'm definitely looking for a new kicker next year.

I'm curious to see if Hunter Smith holding this year makes a difference.

Sean Taylor. Even if he was on injured reserved indefinitely. I am still crushed about it.

I seriously doubt it. Who is he going to start over?
