Bottomline, if they wanted him, they could sign him right now to the active roster.

Its not totally off. Listen to the Vinny AND Zorn presser, Read, and understand the message between the lines. And maybe you shall understand..?

If Chase would have been available, which HE WASN'T they would have signed him to the PS. Anyway moot point, moving on.

Daniel Signed to Saints' Practice Squad

Quarterback Chase Daniel will not be returning to the Redskins after all; instead he has been signed to the New Orleans Saints' practice squad, according to multiple reports.
At a news conference Saturday to announce the opening 53-man roster, Vinny Cerrato, Washington's executive vice president of football operations, said the team hoped to sign Daniel to the practice squad if he cleared waivers.
But Daniel considered his options and chose not to rejoin the Redskins. I've heard there may have been some confusing signals regarding players coming from Redskins Park since Friday night. To be honest, I'm really not sure what to make of this Daniel thing because several people told me Coach Jim Zorn likes the kid, thinks he has some talent and definitely wanted him back. That's not going to happen.

It is totally off, maybe you should read the latest news before deciding to make a statement. Everything you are quoting was BEFORE they knew Woodson would be released. They chose Woodson over Daniel......period!

Redskins coach Jim Zorn just did a 17-minute stint that serves as his weekly radio show. The highlights:
*On choosing Andre Woodson over Chase Daniel: "I did tell Chase Daniel I was going to sign him as our practice squad guy but I also told him this: My next sentence was that I wanted to reserve the right to look at the list and see who else is out there. I didn't know Andre Woodson was going to be exposed. We had a chance to get him and try to work with him so we chose it."

Your quotes were from Friday/Saturday, mine is from the radio show this week. Your wrong dude, just suck it up and move on.

Well, we have no trouble beating Dallas and Philly the past few years, the NJ Giants have been the tough ones, so this guy serves his purpose.

Maybe it will work.

In all actuallity....didn't the Giants do the very exact thing a few yrs ago when they picked up Arrington. By the way ....did we say all the same BS they are back then?

Yup this happens quite a bit actually. Coughlin just decided to act like a little girl and cry about it. Im guessing he was trying to sneak Woodson on the practice squad again, and was upset in losing him to a division rival.

Arrington could still play though, Woodson is a PS player. Kind of a difference there.
