23-16 OT- Giants
We tie at 16-16 in regulation. Giants get lucky and get first ball, BJ unfortunately breaks free through open field and runs in for a 43 yd score (like that OT loss to SD a few years back). big disappointment for our Skins, but staying with the G-men for a full 4 quarters gives us some confidence... .Wow, you're really good at this! Do you have next weeks winning lotto numbers handy?

I think the game will be very close in the first half and the skins will catch the Giants off guard. However, the Giants have an excellent coach and will make great half-time adjustments, while our beloved team becomes overconfident and falters in the 2nd half. I predict our pass-rush will be nonexistent and our secondary will give up crucial first down after first down in the 4th quarter. Our first win of the season will come at home September 20th.

I'm sure the majority of fans in the other 31 teams in the league think theyre gonna win the first game, too. To bad atleast 16 of them are wrong.

The beauty of being a Lions fan is the ability to make frequent accurate predictions.

Losing Burress and Toomer changes the Giants offense dramatically. More important than the loss of Burress is the loss of Spags, he's a very good DC and the driving force behind their success in 2007.
The Giants lines are very good, however our DL is much improved with the addition of Haynesworth, a healthy Daniels, and Orakpo. We should hold up well against the Giants rushing attack. I don't believe they have enough firepower to beat us with their passing game. The Giants are outmatched by us at our secondary vs. their WR/TEs and by our WR/TEs vs. their secondary. The key is Campbell, I believe he will be more poised and confident in Zorn's system, and with a healthy OL up front he will perform.
