If it were up to you, who would you send packing in these three matchups and why? Granted, neither Thomas nor Kelly are in danger of being out of a job, so in their case, pick one as your starter for #3 receiver. I don't envy the people who have to make the call.

I would have to go with Colt as the 3rd QB unless his injury causes him to miss so time he could placed on IR. If he is healthy we keep Colt and Daniels on practice squad. The big shock would be to let Todd Collins go and keep to unproven young QB's. Collins has not been unimpressive thus far in preseason. The WR positions goes ( 1. Moss 2. Thomas
3. ARE 4. Kelly 5. Mitchell. The RB battle is shakey because i dont like Betts to back up Portis. Betts had the 1 big year and got his money thus far no product as a change of pace back. With that said i like ( 1. Portis 2.Mason 3. Rock 4. Alridge) Rock can still play special teams. Alridge and Mason are cheap with Betts gone. Alridge has speed and we need speed on the offense.

Brennan for QB.
Mason for RB.
WR is so tough between Malcom & Devin.... maybe theyll rotate until someone steps up.
I think its gonna be Malcom.

Im gonna go......
Colt over Chase, both have average arms at best, but IMO Colt sealed the deal with his performance last game. He wasnt taking the chances he had been earlier in preseason, and managed the game pretty well. Daniel had a rough time, mostly because the Oline was getting ripped, but he did finish strong. Tight race, and although neither is ready for real NFL snaps, I think Colt is a little more polished at this point. Id love to see Chase on the practice squad but I dont think he will make it there.
Kelly over Thomas by the slightest edge, but I want to see plenty of both come gametime. ARE looks like he has found a home in the slot, and we should go shotgun with 4 wideouts alot this year. Thomas looked good on KR, so Id like to see him there as well.
For RB I can see this playing out several different ways. My thinking is it will end up Portis, Betts, Rock, and either Mason/Alridge. I do like Mason, but I feel like Alridge could finally give us the change of pace that we need. I wouldnt mind seeing Mason instead of Betts, but it isnt gonna happen. Either way, we really need to address running back in the near future.

Daniel
Kelly
Mason
Kelly has been looking great, but THomas is looking good as well. They both have done a 100% turnaround since last season. Mason is running the ball hard, and looks even more impressive then Betts does.
I also went with Daniel, because I think he's way more teachable then Brennan, and from what I hear he already has most of the playbook down.
Kelly is the easy choice over thomas, I think Colt gets the slight edge over Daniel and in Mason over Rock I chose Betts.....I am glad I am not the only one who thinks so but I don't think betts is worth the money and should be gone that way Rock can anchor our special teams and return kicks and back up Portis some and we can develop mason.

Larry Weisman's Twitter says that Brennan IS going to IR. I know it's been talked about, but I didn't really expect that.
