I read the article below about top 10 trades that need to happen and it mentions this tidbit:
"5. DT Anthony Montgomery to the Panthers: Ever since the Panthers lost mountain man Maake Kemoeatu at defensive tackle, GM Marty Hurney has been looking for a big replacement. Washington's Montgomery is 6-foot-6, 320 pounds and very unhappy about being demoted from the starting lineup with the arrival of Albert Haynesworth. "
Is this true? What do you guys think? do you make a trade and if so for what?
I say no cause Griffin only has like a year left in him and Montgomery is the future.

First I have heard of it.
Actually the article says he is very unhappy, not angry.
All he has to do is play his ass off and make the Skins realize they can live without Griffin next year.

yeah, Griff is long in the tooth & while still effective, has a history of naggin injuries. I would hate to see Monty go, but if the Pack makes an offer that vinny can't refuse...
(actually I don't know if that's a good standard)

Wasn't there an article a few days ago about Montgomery and Golsten, stating that they were both taking their backup roles in stride? That's a far cry from being very unhappy.

Besides, Monty isn't going to the Panthers. Late yesterday they traded for Cleveland's DT for an undisclosed pick.

Yeah they said Monty said he was a bit upset at first, but then embraced the role.

Yeah, but it definitely seemed like Monty wasn't exactly thrilled about it. I don't know, the tone of his quotes kind of came off like he wasn't really pleased that he won't be in the lineup as much.

There's a silver lining in this story, although it's all just speculation; we have enough depth that such a trade can even be considered.

Yes there was and these reporters just look for stuff to write about because they have pages they have to fill with something.
