I like Blache, he doesnt make excuses and tells it like it is. He doesnt fluff up any stuff. I like a coach that is totally honest and is always looking to get better.

Hell yeah make reporters think, they ask the same questions. I like Blache and support his reaction.

Are you saying Matich deserved it?

I know someone on this board who might have an opinion on this...

But anyhow, maybe next time I see Matich hanging around my office I'll ask him about it

Have you seen Matich's latest blog post? "Greg Blache is a classy guy...not"

But seriously...this kind of reminded me of the time Brunell got pissed at Czaban when Czabe asked him if he would offer to basically bench himself for the good of the team. But anyway, Blache basically put it out there when he said several years ago that "sacks were overrated" and our pass rush has been suspect so, like it or not, he's going to get questions about our pass rush and how he plans on addressing it. And he's not the reporter asking the questions, so he doesn't have to "throw questions" back at Matich

Blache's professionalism was like the south end of a northbound skunk.

"Playoffs? Don't talk about playoffs! Playoffs?"

I know it was just a heated moment thing but he could have just gotten mad and said so instead of making it a little too personal.

I saw it on CSN and it was akward. I felt for Matich because I worked with the public for 10 years. In that situation Blache could say pretty much anything he wanted without far of losing his job where Matich was handcuffed by doing his job.

It was much like when I was a desk clerk back i nthe day at a hotel people would treat me like crap and I could not say crap back because I would lose my job.

What would Blache say if Danny asked that question? I am sure it would have been a diffrent answer. Basically I feel like Blache threw a suckers punch because he knew that MAtich could not hit back.

I thought Matich handled it well. Blache has been answering the same questions about sacks for many years and I'm sure he's tired of hearing it but there's a reason he hears it so much. He heard the same type of questions in Chicago. If his teams got more pressure on the QB's and could stop third and long a little more often he wouldn't get so many questions about why there isn't any.
