The point was there's no market for a player with Colt's skill set. You can cut him, and no one in the league will touch him.
It allows the Redskins to fit him on the PS if they so choose. Or they can cut bait for good. Depends on what they see in him.
ok :)

[QUOTE=davy;581742]Negatives...
Jason Campbell - No touch and not great accuracy, he will always be a run-of-the-mill QB. We need to find someone better.
Careful there, Davy - based on the rather caustic comments in response to MY [none-too-kind yet realistic] assessment of JC's four-year performance, to quote the vernacular, "Them thar's fightin' words!!!!!"
Run-of-the-mill? That's a bit generous, don't you think?

Who really cares what's going on with the third string QB? I just love the Cult of Colt and his humorous videos he makes with Chris Cooley. Is Chase going to have such a large following of crazed fans?
JC is our QB and if he has a good season he will be rewarded with an extension so all this third qb talk will have no relevance.
Anyway how bout that Marko Mitchell?

Yeah it really isn't a big issue in the grand scheme of things. I honestly can't remember a time in recent memory where so much time and energy was spent talking about a 3rd string QB.
As for Mitchell, now he's someone to get excited about.

It's about equal to the time and effort spent last year on the 5th CB spot (torrence v. tryon).

Hey Matty i see your watching hard knocks with the Cincinatti Bengals with that kiss the baby. How'd you like the teams impression of Andre Smith at the rookie talent show?

As far as CB goes apparently Zorn sees something in him. You know Zorn....the QB guru.
The same QB guru who has said: (1) that neither Colt nor Chase are threatening Collins, let alone Campbell; and (2) that Colt is going to have to fight off an UFA for the 3rd string QB.

True. My point is Zorn drafted him last year and at this point in time he's still on the team, even after the first cuts, so he sees something in Brennan. If not, I doubt he'd waste a roster spot on him this long.
