Well, I agree he may be a bit cumbersome for the small forward position :-) - are you suggesting tight end?

I think he will be either a TE or a pass catching full back. I do, however, think that the return of the single wing (wild cat) may find him a spot on an NFL roster as a "Quarterback." He could end up being a lot like Pat White, drafted to play run the wild cat/emergency qb spot and find a way to prove himself.

My biggest problem with him isn't that he can't throw. He's not overly accurate, but that's not as much of a headache as his need to be a power runner. Guys are bigger in the NFL and that's a good way to get injured if you're not big enough to take the kind of beating that would be required of a power back. I'm afraid if someone selects Tebow to play Q, they'll spend much of their time wondering how his throwing shoulder gave out so early.

Yeah I hear you, if he hadn't gotten beat twice like that I wouldnt be worried...

I dont know what the safety was doing, but I hope he wasnt playing the run on the Pats...

He didn't get beat for both touchdowns. The first one was on him because he bit on a double move and Randy got position. I'm actually encouraged that he got deeked by Moss and stayed in the shot, much less staying in the best position he could.

The second touchdown, however, looked like zone. Regardless, it was Landry that Moss ran by on the second TD.

You just made anything you say from this point on completely irrelevant.

I can't believe you could even think about a ridiculous comparison like this, let alone actually post it.

Wow.

Oh, dear heavenly days, Buster. Can I ever hope to regain your confidence, or am I doomed to forever bear the awesome burden of your derision??

I need to go back and look at it, for some reason I thought it was Hall playing man on Moss both tds and getting burnt..

The problem is the Pats have Randy Moss, Wes Welker and Joey Galloway, with Brady throwing it to them. Who do you double?
I

I think everyone should know the answer to that question.... Moss

Not to be argumentative, but I'm not sure "power running" is a necessity at the QB position; his rushing numbers aren't too shabby (after 3 years, 475 attempts - 2,037 yards - 43 TD's). And at 6'3", 245, he's not exactly a welterweight. I think he can take a hit or two....

there were far worse QB's in the playoffs last season than Jason Campbell.

Besides Tavaris Jackson...who?

Rewatched it, the second one obviously was Landry, Hall wasn't involved in the play...

Besides Tavaris Jackson...who?

Well, first of all, there were only 3 QB's who had a better QB rating in the postseason than Jason had in the reg. season. (PManning, Roethlisberger, Warner). That's not much of an apples-to-apples comparison though, because almost every QB in the playoffs had better regular season stats than in the playoffs (for obvious reasons).

But here's the list of QB's in the playoffs last season whose *regular season* QB rating ranked below Jason Campbell:

* Ben Roethisberger
* Joe Flacco
* Kerry Collins
* Tavaris Jackson
* Byron Leftwich (edited, can't believe I wrote Garrard, guess it was late)

QB's in the playoffs last season whose regular season QB rating were 5 points higher (or less) than Jason Campbell:

* Eli Manning
* Donovan McNabb
* Matt Ryan
* Jake Delhomme

That leaves only 5 QB's in the playoffs last season whose regular season QB rating was appreciably better than Jason Campbell:

* Philip Rivers
* P. Manning
* Chad Pennington
* Warner
* Brees
