Fill in the blank. How many points do you expect to see. Is less than 14 points a failure? How about 10?

How about 10? Jay Schroeder 08-28-2009, 10:27 AM score an offensive touchdown apply pressure on Brady run effectively complete a pass longer than ten yards with our first team offense SmootSmack 08-28-2009, 10:30 AM I want Campbell to lead at least two scoring drives, including one touchdown And I'd like to see us get a turnover or two as well MTK 08-28-2009, 10:36 AM 10 points by the half would be nice, and just a solid showing overall. killromo 08-28-2009, 10:36 AM 1) 10 points by first team offense 2) Solid D performance to include our secondary not getting torched by Brady and QB pressures 3)A Deep completion to either thomas or kelly Sean"Big Hurt"Taylor 08-28-2009, 10:48 AM Campbell again shows his inaccuracy on his intermediate throws. It will also be a failure if we don't move the ball again. I believe the defense will show up but you can not expect them to be on the field the whole game though if the offense sputters. I just don't see Campbell being successful tonight against the Pats. There is a reason that Kyle Boller (Kyle Boller!!!!!!) looks better than Campbell in a west coast offense. He is being setup for failure. I'm sorry guys I'm just frustrated. Chico23231 08-28-2009, 10:51 AM I want Campbell to lead at least two scoring drives, including one touchdown And I'd like to see us get a turnover or two as well Id second that with a Orakpo sack of Brady Lotus 08-28-2009, 10:52 AM Failure is a strong word. That is a different context than "like to see.." I'd like to see the first team O score at least 10-14 points. I'd like to see the first team D get at least two turnovers. I'd like to see the scrubs perform well. But failure? True failure cannot happen until Sept. 13. This game can only be a failure to me if we suffer a terrible injury or two. Sheriff Gonna Getcha 08-28-2009, 10:59 AM The redskins performance tonight will be considered a failure if: (1) The offense fails to show signs of life (i.e., a few decent drives and at least 10 points); or (2) We lose a key player to injury. Monkeydad 08-28-2009, 11:30 AM Injuries, especially the offensive line. If we lose, I won't worry, but if we lose any key guys...that could be another story. Portis will be steamrolling people come Week 1 regardless of how he looks in the preseason. I also believe the playbook will be opened up a bit in the passing game, so Campbell will take more shots down the field. He has so many targets this season, unlike in any prior year. 5 solid WRs, 2 TEs, Portis/Betts...our offense looks deep this season. |
