Fill in the blank. How many points do you expect to see. Is less than 14 points a failure? How about 10?

score an offensive touchdown
apply pressure on Brady
run effectively
complete a pass longer than ten yards with our first team offense

I want Campbell to lead at least two scoring drives, including one touchdown

And I'd like to see us get a turnover or two as well

10 points by the half would be nice, and just a solid showing overall.

1) 10 points by first team offense
2) Solid D performance to include our secondary not getting torched by Brady and QB pressures
3)A Deep completion to either thomas or kelly

Campbell again shows his inaccuracy on his intermediate throws. It will also be a failure if we don't move the ball again. I believe the defense will show up but you can not expect them to be on the field the whole game though if the offense sputters. I just don't see Campbell being successful tonight against the Pats. There is a reason that Kyle Boller (Kyle Boller!!!!!!) looks better than Campbell in a west coast offense. He is being setup for failure. I'm sorry guys I'm just frustrated.

Failure is a strong word. That is a different context than "like to see.."

I'd like to see the first team O score at least 10-14 points. I'd like to see the first team D get at least two turnovers. I'd like to see the scrubs perform well.

But failure? True failure cannot happen until Sept. 13. This game can only be a failure to me if we suffer a terrible injury or two.

The redskins performance tonight will be considered a failure if:

(1) The offense fails to show signs of life (i.e., a few decent drives and at least 10 points); or

(2) We lose a key player to injury.

Injuries, especially the offensive line.

If we lose, I won't worry, but if we lose any key guys...that could be another story.

Portis will be steamrolling people come Week 1 regardless of how he looks in the preseason.

I also believe the playbook will be opened up a bit in the passing game, so Campbell will take more shots down the field. He has so many targets this season, unlike in any prior year. 5 solid WRs, 2 TEs, Portis/Betts...our offense looks deep this season.
