Sean Taylor was still hitting his peak when he passed, so I think it's a bit premature to be too down on LL. This is year 3 for him, let's give him this season and we'll see where he's at.

Sean Taylor was still hitting his peak when he passed, so I think it's a bit premature to be too down on LL. This is year 3 for him, let's give him this season and we'll see where he's at.Yeah. As it turned out, 1) Ryan Clark was actually a really great player, not just a scheme fit, and 2) the third year ended up not being all that pivotal for ST. He didn't improve from the second to third year, but in his fourth season, vaulted to the top of the league at his position.

Hopefully, Landry can develop faster than Sean did, but I don't think we can write him off as a bust if he doesn't.
