Frank Herzog: The Redskins are just bad

I'm confused Daseal. First you said we would have made the playoffs if we had Gregg Williams. Then Winskins said he doesn't think Williams would have made a difference, then you say you agree with Winskins :confused:

I think our biggest mistake was firing marty.

cause martys done so well in SD right? ;)

In defense of Marty, SD has the worst personnel in the league. I think LT is about the only top notch guy on that roster.

The bigger mistake was hiring Marty in the first place. Snyder isn't the kind of owner that can give 100% control to someone like he did with Marty.

With Gibbs he at least feels like he has a say in things, even though he's probably nothing more than Gibbs' personal ATM.

Antonio Gates? Donnie Edwards? SD has a lot of talent and are vastly improved on the O line and D line from last year.

Brees has done alright this year, as has R. caldwell...

The only thing owed Spurrier is a kick in the arse! Pulllease! Gibbs won the Super Bowl in his second year as an NFL coach, Spurrier headed back to the golf course after his. The two names should not even be used in the same sentence. Gibbs is the best ever. He will fix this team. It takes a little longer than a month to fix 12 years of ineptitude.

I think what Herzog means is that Gibbs is finding out how hard it is to coach this bunch of no account stiffs and SS had no chance with these guys. The difference is that Gibbs, Bugel, et al wont put up with the players bullsh.. like SS did. There will be no mutiny on this team because anyone that tries will be out on his a$$.

Hopefully Gibbs can find a way to make this sorry bunch into winners.
