I don't know if anyone got to see the Philly vs. Jags game but Philly fans were chanting "We want Vick" in the 3rd quarter after McNabb threw an interception.
NFL Network showed the game later in the night at 11pm. The eagles made some bad errors and a ton of mistakes in their most important game of the preseason...it was awesome.
Did anybody get to see this? What'd you think of the eagles output and the supposed "threat" of Vick.
...BTW...Vick is going to be on the sideline a lot in this offense and I just don't see how he is going to come in, blow the doors off of the NFL and then go back out and sit on the sideline...especially during the late fall and winter.

I caught the game. The I beleave the tried kind of hard to put him in the game. What was up with the swapping of McNabb and Vick that wont work against the NFC EAST maybe all the other divisions. He still has an arm with the one pass he completed that I seen, I didn't get to see him run but there something still there. McNabb F-up lobbing for Vick first sighn of non production from McNabb Philly fans will be chanting for Vick like earlier. I beleave you have to have your QB in the game all game to get a rythem, NO swapping out to try to confuse or scare the other team. So I guess it's all wait and see.

There is no way they are swapping QB's during the season. You people get too caught up in preseason. they were giving Vick some time with the starters, to get in the flow, play at real speed. He may play some in the wildcat, but McNabb is the QB of the Eagles. I dont see Vick doing anything but watching this season. Next season may be a different story.
Didn't take long for those Vick chants huh? God Philly fans are dumb.
This could be REAL entertaining! Something else for Philly fans to.....torture McNabb with and derail the team

I thought more important was how poorly the Philly Oline protected McNabb on the first few possessions. The rushers were in the backfield nearly as soon as the play started.
I did find one Vick/McNabb play comical. McNabb lined up under center, Vick spread out to the left. Not one Jag covers Vick, McNabb handed off to McCoy who was stopped, and then faked the pass out to Vick. In a real game it might have set up a flea flicker, but I found it funny that the Jags didn't think it worth covering him.

I think he'll mind his Ps and Qs pretty well. He is looking to cash in so he has to be good both playing and behavior wise. The problem that exists is that Philly fans make Redskins fans look reasoned and focused. The implosion that is coming is going to be from the OTHER QB. If McNabb thought it was bad after they drafted Kolb and everyone decided his days were numbered, just wait. Now they have a potentially dynamic offensive weapon who has happened to win games playing the QB position before. That plus neurotic fans, and a thin-skinned attitude could b pretty caustic. Of course they could simply play well and everything would be fine but one hint of underachieving and the whole deal could get pretty ugly.
