Pimp the poll: Which player is in biggest roster troublePennSkinsFan 08-26-2009, 04:20 PM Go vote on main page of DC Pro Sports Report (http://www.dcprosportsreport.com) MTK 08-26-2009, 04:22 PM Close between big Mike and Colt. SmootSmack 08-26-2009, 04:23 PM Mike Williams PennSkinsFan 08-26-2009, 04:23 PM This was a pretty tough one. I vote Justin Tryon. With just taking Barnes in the third round, you have to think they will keep him. Can we honestly say Tryon is better than Westbrook. The team invested too much in Devin Thomas. I would think, even as poor as he has been, he will stick for at least one more season. Mike Williams seems to think he will be on the field on 9/13 and indications are he will. That leaves Brennan. I just don't see the Redskins choosing Daniel over Brennan, who has been in the system for a full year. MTK 08-26-2009, 04:25 PM Thomas has at least shown some promise and improvement in camp, he probably doesn't deserve to be on the list. Tryon will stick one more year, he's got more upside than Westbrook. BigHairedAristocrat 08-26-2009, 04:27 PM Close between big Mike and Colt. Jason Reid thinks the Skins have invested too much into Big Mike to let him go. Of those listed, i think Brennan is the most in trouble. Unfortunately, I think we're going to be in a situation again this year, where we place several backup OL on our practice squad and they get signed to another teams active roster. As of right now, I think our backup OL will consist of Bridges (T/G), Mike Williams(T), Rinehart(G), and Montgommery(G/C). Investment in MW aside, who would our second backup OT be? Certainly not Rinehart or Montgommery. I wish there was a way to keep Edwin Williams, but it just doesnt look like its in the cards. FRPLG 08-26-2009, 04:56 PM I don't even think it's close. Brennan by a mile. The others all have too much invested in them to be let go right now. SouperMeister 08-26-2009, 05:08 PM I don't even think it's close. Brennan by a mile. If he continues to play indisciplined and forces balls that result in a pick or two, he may well be gone. He needs a good performance more than any player on the roster IMO. wilsowilso 08-26-2009, 05:16 PM Rock is in danger me thinks. SFREDSKIN 08-26-2009, 05:22 PM One player who I think is safe is Reed Doughty, he has been outstanding and Kareem Moore hasn't so far. I hope to keep Moore as I like him, but would not be surprised if he was let go in a shocker move. Renaldo Wynn is the other. |
