Baby Brees is probably a pretty good comparison.
If Daniel was 6-3 would he have gone undrafted? Probably not.
By the way, anyone know his real first name? Chase is actually his middle name.

He won't even tell us! I do understand though, I have always gone by my middle name, by no choice of my own.

First of all, I have to admit I'm biased about Chase Daniels. I'm a Mizzou fan and watched him his whole career at Mizzou. The only knock on Chase Daniels is his height. He has tremendous football instincts. He reads defenses well, knows when to take off running and when to dump the ball off. He is accurate and his touch is as good as anyone's. His arm strength is average. He has a body build more like a running back, very strong lower body. It's questionable if he can be a NFL quarterback, but the same was said of Drew Brees or Jeff Garcia. So far, he is looking like the best long term prospect for the Skins. I think another team will pick him up if he is placed on waivers. Colt needs to pick up his play in my opinion.

So even a Mizzou fan calls him "Daniels" huh? How can we expect Theismann to do any better?

I know it. Do you?I would love to know. I have been googling it for about ten minutes and have found nothing. He has been pretty good at keeping this a secret so far. Is it Jack? Maybe someday we could have a Colt Koolaid followed by a Daniel(s) chaser.

Nope....Zorn said it was a competition for the #2 spot, Colt just played his way out of it. Colt had a great preseason last year, but he really has that "gunslinger" mentality, and the interceptions into double coverage gets old fast.
EDIT:washingtonpost.com (http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2009/08/11/AR2009081103221.html)
I stand corrected he said "entering camp Collins was his backup", but Zorn left open the possibility someone else could win the job.
The last one was double coverage. the first was the wr ran about a 10yd comeback route and the db was over him and as the wr cut back inside his head was down and he just never saw the ball as the db jumped in front of him.

Man I see a ton of excusses for the performance of certain QB's on this team and right now both look like crap.
