CRedskinsRule 08-29-2009, 03:01 PM Colt will be ok when he learns that its ok to take the 3. you cant always get the td in the redzone,if its not there you have to let it go and live to fight another day. But i understand where he came from they always went for the 6. I dont think Coach June Jones knows how to spell Field Goal.
that reminds me of college overtime. doesn't the first team just have to go for the TD every time, and if they do take a fg, then the 2nd team has to, if they want to win.
As for Colt he needs to learn pretty quickly that int's in the RedZone does not make for a long NFL career.
Beemnseven 08-29-2009, 03:03 PM You ain't kiddin' man! Friday night against the Patriots Campbell was brutal...sigh
Pop's just not a big fan of Jason Campbell. Hard to believe, I know, with Jason being 17 for 35 and 257 yards with no TDs this preseason.
For the record, I'm not as convinced that Jason Campbell absolutely isn't the answer for us at quarterback. Personally, I'd say I'm about 60% convinced that Campbell will be somewhere else in 2010. I could be wrong.
We'll see who's right in about five months.
P.S. -- let's not forget that none other than Dan Snyder and Vinny Cerrato weren't convinced either when they tried to get Mark Sanchez and Jay Cutler...
beemnsevenspop 08-29-2009, 03:09 PM Your a joke, please just be quiet! Thanks!
Okay, Okay - I STAND CORRECTED, FOLKS!!! By Golly, last night, he actually DID manage to find his fanny with both hands!!!!
CRedskinsRule 08-29-2009, 03:09 PM IF Campbell brings Snyder his first Lombardi trophy, Campbell WILL be $100Million dollars richer.

I don't think anyone would argue that Campbell is a franchise QB (not yet at least), but he's certainly not as awful as Pops implied.

:laughing- Calm down Pops. I see you're in Chesapeake, get your pole and do a little fishing. It's good for the nerves. Works for me. :)

Doesn't he get credit for the TD he ran in?

Or the other rushing td that he set up with his arm?
GusFrerotte 08-31-2009, 12:16 AM I am just happy we have some decent QBs to contend with. I am following the Bears Broncos Sunday night game and neither team has any real QB depth. IF their starters go down they are freaking doomed. The backups don't look too bad for either team, but Collins and both our young QBs look better.
53Fan 09-01-2009, 07:20 PM I just heard Larry Wiesman say on Redskins Nation that the Patriots had called about Todd Collins and were told to look elsewhere.
