i know but last night just brought me back to those back to back runs to the left by betts against the giants. if we're gonna run for it, let portis try it, not betts.

On those plays if Betts runs full speed he gets in for the TD. He seemed kinda of confused of where he was going to go.

thats why i'm sick of seeing him run it. it's like he folds under the pressure or something.

Mike Sellers also missed his block on that play

well next time i'd like to see portis sweep to the right or a quick slant to kelly or a qb sneak, anything but betts to the left.

Cartwright is not even close to the RB that Betts is

He's been running better than Betts and has more to offer with his special teams play. Right now, I'd rather keep Cartwright, Mason, and Dorsey. I don't think we'd miss Betts

I sometimes wonder if people are watching the same players I'm watching.

So would we rather just pound CP into the ground again this year?

Betts needs to play more this year, and he needs to step up and be productive, simple as that.

What we need to do is draft another RB next year and replace him!

Im not the biggest Betts fan either but id still rather have him over Cartwright.

That's a very good point. It's hard to tell if Betts just doesn't have a nose for the endzone or if the offensive unit "goofs" more when he gets the call or if the oline even pushes a little less hard than when CP is on the field.

Betts seem to run over CBs, safeties and smaller LBs pretty consistently...he gets destroyed by D lineman just as consistently on the other hand.
