what knuckle head, you would think a 1st round cb would have learned alil something from what happened to pacman jones.
he gets a cab instead of drinking n driving but then goes ahead and still finds a way to get in trouble. you never hear about one of these wanna-be thugs just squaring off mono y mono against another dude. either their posse does most of the fighting or shooting. id lik eto see one of these punks get his face smashed in by some regular joe who doesnt have to take crap from some ego trippin 5'10 dude.

You can take the hood out of the player, but can't take the player our of the hood? You have a contract for how much money a year? And you get arrested for hitting a cabby in the head? What was the problem? Cab fare too much for you to pay? Either he drinks too much, or he doesn't drink enough, either way he's wrong.

He's potentially a Pro Bowl CB for the future, it's a shame he's on the road to being a waste of talent.

Yeah, Talib is looking like the next Pacman-esque self-destruction disaster waiting to happen.

Talib has been involved in a pair of violent incidents since joining the league, according to area media reports. In a brawl during practice in May, Talib swung his helmet at a teammate and hit bystander Torrie Cox instead. And last year, during the league's rookie symposium, he got into a fight with then-teammate Cory Boyd.
jesus
and how did they talk to all of those people and never get a reason?

I know it's a year old but add Adrian Clayborne to the list of athletes that have assaulted cab drivers.

Off the field criminal behavior has become a problem I believe requires new study. There is evidence that professional athletes are not punished by the league, teams, or the criminal justice system as harshly or consistently as their general public counterparts. Simularly, conviction rates of athletes are astonishingly low compared to arrest statistics.
This type behavior [IMO] continues to compromise the integrity of the league. The NFL personal conduct policy should/will be revisited and analyzed to correct it's potential faults and made a strongly enforced policy negotiated in the next CBA.

It's a story about a cabbie getting punched by an athlete. I'm hoping to add four or five more guys names before this thread runs it's natural course.
