I'm obviously speculating but we may be able to keep Marko on the practice squad, should it come to that. We are the only folks who wanted him in the draft and we might be the only folks who want him now.

Just my take.....everyone seems enamored with Hackett and Hagens, I'm not. Hackett has spent 5 yrs in the league already and has failed to be a star. He's filled in nicely for teams, and knows the system but is not a major leader or staple of any team which is why he has been let previously. Hagens has 2 yrs in the league and to be honest I see him as another Hackett. His name excapes me, I've never heard of him before. He is 5ft 10inch's so my personal feeling is if we were to be stuck with someone 5-10 I'd rather have Eloi if he can actually catch. Only cause he's reported to have similar speed to Moss but younger which in my book speaks of Moss's future replacement. Possibly.

How sweet it would be to have 4 young WR's (Thomas, Kelly, Mitchell, and Eloi) with a mix of speed and hight to compliment Moss and ARE.

I think the Hagens bandwagon blew a gasket in Baltimore. He needs to turn into TO for the rest of the pre-season to make up for that debacle.

Hackett based on his experience.

Mitchell will be on the PS.

Hackett based on his experience.

Mitchell will be on the PS.I hate putting a guy on the practice squad that was drafted. If he gets picked up by another team and becomes a player, it will have been a completely wasted draft pick, not that we haven't wasted picks in the past. :frusty:

What's the probability of a losing a 7th round WR from the PS? Probably pretty slim.

Slim or not, I'd hate to lose him. I think his upside is pretty good and could possibly help us this year.

I doubt we put a draft pick that shows promise on the PS. I also believe he has the potential to make the team on merit. Hackett wasn't even our first choice between Roydell Williams and himself. For me, Hackett is the definition of a camp body. (Eloi also). If Hackett were a killer ST player, then he could definitely take up Thrash's mantle, but as a 5th receiver he has less potential than Mitchell.

This is MY depth chart as far as the WRs are concerned. I hope most will agree. I am so pissed that Hagans and Thrash are on the new Madden. What's up with that? Thrash has been gone for a while..

1. Moss (no explanation needed)
2. Devin Thomas (takes pressure off Moss and has exceptional speed)
3. A.R.E (This position is more sutiable for him from what I've read)
4. Malcom Kelly (could have been 2-3 - But He needs to improve on route running)
5. Marko Mitchell (he has been shining in traning camp..Ask Carlos Rogers..lol) Also see CLinton Portis loves Marko Mitchell http://www.thewarpath.net/redskins-locker-room/31336-clinton-portis-loves-marko-mitchell.html

What are your thoughts? I know Hackett knows the offense and Hagans is versatile (wonder if the wildcat or anything has to do with him being here since he was a former QB..Probably not..Poor mans A.R.E. to me)

I think Marko is a diamond in the rough and we should not chance letting another team pick him up. Having another WR with height and that can burn would be a nice compliment to Devin and Malcom in the future. We would be set for years. Moss and ARE aren't exactly spring chickens..

Need a point of clarification. Is this your suggested depth chart, or what the depth chart actually is?
