So let's say Mitchell is a player for us, a Horton type on the offensive side of the ball this year, would that blow the whole "Hixon is a crap WR coach" theory out of the water?
LOL good one Matty. Everyone has a bit of luck now and again so I'm not sure Hixon gets a pass w/ one developed WR...however if Mitchell and either Thomas or Kelly have a good season I'll lobby for a Hixon avatar :)

All I know is that we've had little success WR-wise and at some point we have to figure out whether it is the coaching, simple talent evaluation or just bad luck.
All of the above? If we had baller WR coaching is really not that big of a deal. QB play has something to do with the problem too.

I like what I saw of Marko Mitchell vs the Steelers, especially that push-off on his TD. Definitely a keeper.
It wasn't a push-off but any wideout who doesn't initiate some contact before the leap is foolish.
R. Moss gets away with it just about every time in fact more often than not they call a foul on the defense even though the wideout clearly commits the penalty.
Marko did a little bit of a feeler and then abused the guy. Hell, the guy didn't even jump.

Michael Irvin was the best at that, now he pushed off.
