Seriously???...Marko is already such a proven commodity to you that you're locking him in as a great pick?
How about you see if he makes the team first and then let him crack the third string wideout spot before you anoint him a selection comparable to Horton.
Yeah I am. I wouldn't have taken the time to post if I didn't believe it. How about you lean back, open your mouth, and picture me rolling.

Well, you're rollin' on ecstasy if you think that Marko is what you're making him out to be. IF he makes the team he'd barely get any PT at wideout.
You better hope your boy is a better tackler on special teams than a receiver, 'cause he's not making this team without special teams assistance.
Keep drinking up the imaginary preseason hype...I hear people get really dehydrated when their rollin'.

We'll see. I thought ecstasy came in a pill?

Not better than our top 4 yet, but I think he deserves a try for #5. He'll probably need a year or two to develop, but great potential for a big & fast guy. Compared to the other #5's we're considering - he dwarfs them & is still actually pretty fast.
40 yard times
MM (LL) -- 6'4" @ 4.49
Hackett -- 6'2" @ ?? couldn't find it
Eloi -- 5'10" @ 4.34
Hagans 5'10" @ 4.53
S.Moss -- 5'10" @ 4.31
ARE -- 5'10" @ 4.49
D.Thomas - 6'2 @ 4.40
M.Kelly -- 6'4" @ 4.68*
For comparison:
Anthony Mix -- 6'4" @ 4.51
Terrell Owens -- 6'3" @ 4.36
Plaxico Burress -- 6'5" @ 4.6
Interestingly, Usain Bolt would run about a 4.35 according to this article:

You guys are kidding right? MM won't make the team. He's gotten all his catches against second stringers. HA...HA. Come on say it "Touche." LOL. ;) Gotcha all back for all the "Mason won't make the team." and "Mason got all his yrds against second stringers."
Honestly though. I like Marco Mitchell. I know I'm stretching it a bit but I actually like his smoothness. His instinct. Moss is undeniably the #1 WR. ARE should be relegated to 3rd. and to be frank I could actually see Marco being the #2. I like DT but he had a poor showing SAT night. Kelly looks to have surpassed him on the route running and sure hands. but if Marco keeps catching everything also I would almost move him to #2 and put Kelly at #3. I know I'll get blasted by the ARE fans or the fans who think ARE walks on water but as much as I like him he doesn't impress me.
For the future I could see Moss, Mitchell, Kelly, and Thomas. I guess ARE would be somewhere in between there.
Lastly.....what is LL? Why are people using LL to refer to Marco and why are some putting it next to his name ie; Mitchell (LL)?

Never mind. I see someone is refering him to Lanky Livingston which no one knows. Kinda stupid I guess. I kept thinking Laron Landry.

I'm officially on board with Marko after his performance Sat. night. He could be one of those guys you end up wondering just how he slipped to the 7th round.
Granted it was a third stringer but that cornerback had zero chance on that ball.
If Mitchell is a contributor this year I think the Vinny haters may need to start crafting their apology...
Horton = The Predator
Kelly = NFL ready
Orakpo = Disgusting
Fred Davis = basically won the game the other night
Tryon = Isn't ready for prime time yet but will get significant time this year
Barnes = Rookie corner who bounced back and will get better
Thomas = Biggest disappointment but getting better and NFL talent
Rinehart = Contributing
Moore = Will get plenty of playing time in the cobra
Jackson = May get cut because of the D-line depth
Williams = Backup fullback
Mitchell = Mr. Mismatch
Pineapple Je5us = Mr. Pre-season 2008
Chase Daniel = Pontius Pilate
Jeremy Jarmon = Baby Dexter!
Granted, Brooks was a failure, Jackson is probably gone, and Henson and Glenn are going to have to fight for a spot but almost all of the players above are going to play important roles for our team. Two possibly 3 are in the starting 22.
I think that Vinny is an above average talent evaluator and I am pretty happy with the last two drafts so far. He cannot be blamed that a lot of draft picks were taken out of his hands.

We've done really well in the late rounds since 2006. Maybe better than anyone else in the league.
I do think late round drafting is mostly just 1) luck, and 2) stockpiling picks, but after getting NOTHING (except Cartwright) in there for the first six years of the Snyder era, it sure is nice to have found Monty, Golston, Doughty, Blades, Heyer, Moore, Horton, Marko Mitchell, and Edwin Williams in the late rounds.
