I had to "watch" the game on NFL.com live stats....Where was Cooley.............
Or did they think that Rasby was a better blocker???????????
The line misses Jansen that's for sure..........
But I'd blame the turnover and dropped passes FIRST before I blamed Burnell. When Burnell had to run up the middle......that's not a good sign...........the Browns defense was not even ranked high..........And what's up with the red zone play calling........we have difficulty getting the ball in when we are near the goal line..........too many field goals............

Now that's a Redskins fan who sees the whole picture rather than blame a QB for what they think a 2# string QB could have done in that situation.

Patrick Ramsey shouldn't be #2. He never should have.

I think against Dallas, Brunell showed us he can put the ball down the field. The longest pass Ramsey threw this year was 51 yards. I know the Brunell pass to Gardner on two different possessions was over 50 yards. The Dallas game defintiely made me a believer of Brunell's ability to lead this team. No doubt Ramsey is more talented, but Ramsey still is not a leader. When Rasby dropped the pass on second down I saw Brunell clapping and encouraging his team mates. I've never seen Ramsey even talk to the receivers on the side lines discussing the plays and trying to work out the problems. This is what has to happen if Ramsey is to start. Remember he had his chance all preseason, against the Giants and practice before the Dallas game and Gibbs still went with a hurt Brunell. What does that tell you about Ramsey? Right now he's learning the offense. Second he's figuring out how to read the defense and get the play off on time. We had an all-time high last year in delay of game calls. I'm not ready to give up on Brunell just yet especially since he hasn't turned the ball over.

This year instead of delay of games we just waste TO's. What's better?

Did anyone else notice Brunell miss Gardner wide open in the end zone because he was trying to get the ball to Cooley?
Let's have Ramsey start.

Someone mentioned that to me in the Sportsbar, but what looke like a sure thing could have been an INT with a CB hiding for the pass. I still the the turnovers killed us. Philadelphia won with only 19 points, and the Giants 14 points. Our offense is going to put the points up to win. We need to get our offensive line to stop killing us with stupid penalties and Brunell will be more successful.
It's real simple, eliminate the turnovers and this team is 4-0, 3-1 at the worst.
Turnovers kill, and we're seeing that first hand.
