Brunell called those timeouts.
Brunell didn't call those timeouts. Gibbs challenged the Portis fumble and lost the time out and Salavea was hurt on the play so we were forced to call a timeout. Brunell didn't call a timeout on his own.

Like I said in my other post RUN THE DAMN DRAW PLAY!

The draw play and the screen are very affective plays for this team. I don't unerstand why these plays are not used frequently in this offense.

i still say the replay system the way it's set up now is a joke.that last play should have been reviewed.i thought coles hand was on the ground when the ball came out.

I thought it should have been reviewed too. But, this should be the last possesesion where we have to leave it up the referees to decide the outcome of the game. Gibbs must simplify the offense and run a more effcient offense with McCants, Gardner and Coles leading this team down the field. Anybody notice Gardner was a no show? Remember his nickname was 50/50. If he were dominate in this game he would have raised some eyebrows. But we all know he'll probably be traded next year.

That play to Coles should have been reviewed...there is no question on that! Why the booth didn't review that is beyond me since it was called a fumble on the field.

I think that they said the booth cant review it unless its within the last two mintues. I havent heard of that. Either way, I'm not gonna get too worked up over it or blame it on the refs this week. It was our own fault we didnt have the timeouts.

We shouldn't have challenged the Portis fumble. Fire the ex-referee. Can't someone from the coaching staff sit in a booth and watch a replay screen and determine whether or not it should be challenged?

I agree. That ex-ref or whatever sucks, those challenges that we have done were just stupid.

i think this whole season will just be to get the rust off of Gibbs. 12 years is a long time.

I think you hit the nail on the head.

Just watched the post-game conference. The radio going out is NOT what killed us. C'mon, can't we get plays in without it? And the challenge we had at the beginning of the third was USELESS. Watching it live you could tell the refs made the right call. What the h**l is the guy in the booth looking at? Two weeks in a row we burn a timeout on a play that shouldn't be reviewed.
