Every year around this time I reminded how lucky I am to live in the viewing area and the biggest worry I have is what to cook for the game.

if someone has a link to a site where i can watch the games live online, please PM me with the information. standard definition will suffice but i would do a backflip if i could see the preseason games in HD. I live in North Carolina, can only get time warner, and they dont carry the NFL Network... so online is pretty much my one and only option for watching pre-season games. If NFL.com would stream the games live in HD, i would gladly pay for it.

Where in NC? There are a decent amount of skins bars still around.

Raleigh. If you know any skins bars here, please let me know. I wont have a choice in the regular season, but i generally try to avoid sports bars because the smoke really makes me sick, so by the 4th quarter, i'm not even enjoying the game anymore and just want to get out of there. Plus, for the pre-season, i can't justify dropping the 50 bucks to watch the game at a sports bar (food and beer for my wife and I). But like I said, I refuse to miss a regular season game, so if theres a dedicated skins bar in raleigh, i would love to go watch the game there, as opposed to just watching the game without sound on a small 32" LCDTV at Hi5, which is where my wife and I have usually gone.

Did you move recently? For some reason I always thought you were just outside of DC, like Northern Virginia?

No, although my grandparents lived there before they passed away, so i used to be up there alot more frequently. Now i just make the trip for 1-2 home games a year. i wish i lived closer so i could make more games.

It's region related.

Most likely you will not be able to see it until it airs on the NFL network.

Just found out last night I'm in that boat. I have CSN that airs their games...but it's "blocked out for my viewing area" when I checked it on my Dish menu last night.

ARRRRRRRGH!
