Buy American or The Best Available?

I personally do not understand why they cannot change the law to allow DOD contractors to produce this product for this purpose (no exeptions). Then we wouldn't have this problem.

Well put. When it comes to anything, if an American product is superior for a small price difference I'll buy it, but honestly I'm looking out for myself and my family first and if that means I can save a bundle on a decent product that's not necessarily American, I'll take that every time.

I'm not gonna lie, I really don't pay too much attention to the "made in ___" labels. That's bad, I know.

Exactly. I am a firm believer in specialization as well.

One would hope that when puirchasing equipment for the troops, the only consideration would be quality.

Best available, as in what I'm looking for within a certain price range. I refuse to be guilted into buying inferior products whether it be by price or where it's from.
