Video is proof.
I think Jim Zorn is a great head football coach.Lotus 08-11-2009, 01:51 AM Video is proof. GTripp0012 08-11-2009, 02:02 AM I was wathcing NFL Network a month or two ago and Solomon Wilcotts broke down Jason Campbell and said that the Redskins were almost dead last in the NFL in passes completed over 10 yards. He also showed several instantces where JC had the time to throw, had wr's open downfield but checked the ball down instead. But I didn't need him to tell me that cause I watched the games and already knew it.I can't think of a clever comeback to this post right now. Sorry to disappoint you all. Nah nevermind, just see that other thread. firstdown 08-11-2009, 10:51 AM Take a look at the production of rookie wr's & you'll see that D. Thomas had about an avg. year. Some rookies light it up, but they're the exception. Zorn's 6-2 start indicated that he could win & get the team to pull out some tough, close games on the road. Sure things might've been in his favor w/strategy & other teams not sure how this O would look, but the important thing from those games is that he got his players to step up. That's the biggest factor for a head coach, being able to motivate. So, if improvements to personel are made (we'll see about the o line) I do believe Zorn has the will to motivate his players to win. I also think his system, while he was stubborn w/it at times, will work if the O line can hold up (that is a big if, I'm quite concerned myself). Well others can point to the other half of the season to say maybe Zorn cannot motivate players when things go bad and to me that more important then when your winning. You guys can debate this all you want the simpls fact is its too early to tell. SBXVII 08-12-2009, 03:15 AM I was at ES and found a thread regarding player numbers and who wore them for the Skins. Some one posted this nifty site. While looking at it came across a number that listed Don Shula #26. I find it interesting that I haven't heard about him being a Skin. I always kept hearing about how he coached Baltimore and Miami.
