GTripp0012 10-12-2009, 11:04 AM Way to kick us while we're down. He's still pretty sore about having his feelings hurt. So he's conclusion jumping after five weeks.
With that said, Eli looks like a million bucks out there for the Giants right now. Only $96.5 million more to go.
budw38 10-12-2009, 11:16 AM That anyone who pays any attention to the game of football still has doubts about Eli Manning is beyond mystifying. And that includes Giants fans. I hate to say it , but Eli at this point looks like a great qb . I have two friends who are .. < yuk > , cowturd fans , both football saavy , bad taste of course . Both think Eli is as good as Brady/Peyton/Brees ? I'm not ready to say he is that good , but I wish he were in the AFC ... like Oakland :)
JLee9718 10-12-2009, 11:38 AM Has anybody looked at Joe Namath's stats lately? Joe and Eli would be run outa town if they played with the 'Skins' offensive line and Portis!
coggs 10-12-2009, 11:45 PM Way to kick us while we're down.
sorry, didnt mean to kick you, only reddmann or however he spells his name.

No matter how you spin it that's what you are doing.

I agree with you about manning, but there are still fans that think theres nothing wrong with JC,and thats mystifying to me

I think what a lot of us are saying that JC is not the only problem.
ForkLifter 10-12-2009, 11:58 PM Still want to stand by all this non-sense?????????
Does it feel good to be completely vindicated? It really doesn't matter what Eli does, at the end of the day, he's still an assclown. In fact, I'm surprised that Snyder hasn't tried to swing a trade for him.
By the way, Joe Morris was a very underrated running back. He put up some great numbers in 85-86.
Valleyranchgirl 10-13-2009, 12:14 AM Coggs is trippin.. I would take JC over Manning too. Manning is an average QB man. Id take everyone on that list..plus.. Ryan, Romo, Cutler, Bulger, and Rodgers over Manning. Hell I would rather have Sanchez and he has never even played a game yet.
Care to revise your statement, sir?
LOL classic this is just too funny. Why on earth would someone think JC was better than Eli before the season started. When I last checked Eli is the only QB in the division that won a Superbowl. I think he is the only QB to beat NE Pats with Tom Brady at Qb. I may be wrong.
Ha this happened to me once. I remember when Memphisskin told me Tashard Choice was only worthy being on an arena football team. Right now that guy is more productive than a few starters in this league.
For me personally though, I wouldn't ever join a Giants/Eagles/Cowboys board and spend my time struggling to convince opposing fans that my team's players are good. It just seems like a frustrating exercise in futility, IMO. But to each his own.
Its somewhat frustrating but when you can revisit a thread and put some opposing fans in their place its classic. I don't post often or post to make fun of a rival team just some opinions about football in general. Plus this website seems to always have some Cowboy threads every week which always boggled my mind. I don't know if its due to the in closet fans or just pure hate lol. Cowboy sites rarely have Redskin/Eagle/Giant anything on it.

Well Cowboys fans have a tendency to talk a lot of trash and conveniently disappear when their team is sucking it up...like right now when they lost to Denver and had to go to OT to beat the lowly Chiefs (as we Redskins fan like to call, a moral defeat). I could be wrong, but you're the first Cowboys fan to show up in the past two weeks.
