Monkeydad 08-05-2009, 01:27 PM I watch NFL Replay on NFLN all of the time...but I'm not too interested in seeing them on my computer. 19" vs. 42"...big difference. Lotus 08-05-2009, 01:33 PM I watch NFL Replay on NFLN all of the time...but I'm not too interested in seeing them on my computer. 19" vs. 42"...big difference. Another difference is that there are only 4 games each week on NFL Replay but every game can be watched via computer. mcarey032 08-05-2009, 08:25 PM That is pretty cool. saden1 08-05-2009, 08:58 PM Got my subscription last night, thanks SSG. really great deal for $40. Few things to note: 1. I had trouble getting the service to work on Firefox 3.5 and had to use IE8. Plugin installed fine on Firefox, it just wouldn't play videos. 2. HD claim is bogus. Video quality is still good but it's definitely not HD quality. 3. They don't tell you how soon after a game during the season you can watch replay. Lotus 08-05-2009, 09:22 PM I have watched live games via computer via justin.tv. Not every game is there, as it requires volunteers with cameras pointed towards their tv's to upload the signal to the Web. If anyone gets every tv game live and wants to do some community service, they could upload every game to justin.tv. Justin.tv is free and requires no special software. I know watching the games on the internet isn't the same as watching it on TV, but for less than $40, it's a steal. I've watched every Redskins game from 2008 and I've started watching Giants, Eagles, and Cowboys games. Great, great stuff. firstdown 08-06-2009, 05:46 PM Are pre-season games part of the package? Not sure about the package but the NFLN is going to show every pre-season game this year and show 12 live. To me if your a big football fan its worth switching to direct tv for the NFLN. Beemnseven 08-09-2009, 06:04 PM On this topic, I'd like to be able to see any game in the history of the NFL. There are so many games from the 80's that I'd love to go back and see. There was also a game between the Bills and the 49ers from the 1990 season that was the first in which neither team punted. It would be cool just to go back and pick out say, a game from week 4 in 1986 or whatever. SmootSmack 08-25-2009, 06:16 PM Got my subscription last night, thanks SSG. really great deal for $40. To answer the third question, you should be able to watch the games the day of the game starting at 9pm Pacific Time. Not positive about the night games. |
