So they have let Dawkins go, their DC died :(, and now they lose their starting MLB. What a rough patch. I am not "shedding tears" we had that last year, but certainly they are gonna have a harder go of it, then some in the media were thinking.

Dayum! I didn't realize all that, but dang. You aren't kidding! Their defense is REAAAAAAAAAAAAALLY going to suck this year! I almost feel sorry for them. Well, actually I do. I never thought I'd say that about a rival, but I do. Just because of Jim Johnson. He was one of the few defensive coordinators in the league that I actually respected.

You know what.................I'm going to be drafting at least one philly reciever this year and try to get McNabb on my team, because they are going to be throwing that ball ALOT this year!

Sucks for them, good for the rest us.

Put me on record saying this injury is more devastating than losing anyone else on that D, possible exception to Bunkley or Mikell.

If Jim Johnson was still around, you'd think they could pull out a bag of tricks and blitz their way out of this one. They may still try under McDermott, but their chances of success are much lower.

Sucks for them but oh well. Everyone has to adjust to injuries.

I'm sure Philly fans feel really bad when we have training camp injuries...

It's a part of the game and I'd be remiss if I didn't say I'm glad that it didn't happen to us. Injuries are all chance, they happen to all teams regardless of whether you wish for it or not.

I'm just glad it wasn't a Skin.

While he had a big year last year the team has plenty of time to fill the void. They have a good coaching staff and as with all good teams they over come these issues. Now if injuries start stacking up then they might have an issue.

Omar Gaither was not penciled in to be a starter this year, so it seems he'll now get the first crack at replacing Bradley. They're using Gocong and Hakeem Jordan on the outside, and Gaither is kind of the versatile fill-in, kind of the way we've used Blades in the past.

They do have Joe Mays, who reminds me a lot of HB Blades. He was a rookie last year, drafted in the 6th round out of North Dakota State, 5' 11" and 246 pounds. Word is he has decent speed and a nose for the ball. Height is the only knock. He might earn some time.

But yeah, no matter what the Eagles lost the QB of their defense and a guy who was developing into quite a leader, and a pretty athletic player to boot. They'll miss him.

I feel bad for the player but screw the team. We've been there before and the amount of pity we got wouldn't fill a thimble. Hail Redskins!

Well I'm wondering how many Iggles fans are believe Mike Florio's gloom and doom about Haynesworth's knee.
