Point being that Brunell didn't do much wrong, the WR's and line didn't play up to his level.
I love Lavernaeus but he did miss 6 straight catches that you don't normally see him drop. You can't put that on Brunell, there were other key drops as well and Coles does have a finger injury.I'm tired of the bashing of Gibbs for his "poor time management" if my memory serves me 2 T.O s were due to players out of position and 1 was a questionable challenge that I GAURANTEE someone whispered sweet nothings into Joe's ear telling him it was a worthy challenge(although I cringed when it happened). Nobody(media)except Total Access brought up the Pass interference call that went against us or the one that wasn't called. We'll be back for Tuna Casserole before the season ends....

Claimer: It was more than just the ill-advised challenge. The playcalling on the goal line was extremely suspect. I sat there thinking what is wrong with him. Either pass it, put a fullback and Betts in, or try a run more to the outside.

Brunell did waste two timeouts, which wasn't good. Shoulda just snapped the damn ball when Simon was running around. However, him wasting timeouts is on Gibbs. They aren't giving him the plays quick enough. Sorta like Spurrier last year taking too long to get the play into Ramsey.

They should be able to drive 92 yards in 6 to 8 minutes.

And anyway, Brunell has played 1 good quarter out of 12 and you're all saying how great he is. If they turn the corner from the 4th quarter that's great, but until that time I'm reserving the right to be skeptical.

Jesus Christ! That's all of I've tried to say, but everyone wants to be attacking with their posts.
