Sean Taylor is a rookie, Roy Williams is a pro-bowl callibre safety. Give him some time 8)
Taylor will be a beast if we can keep him in the starting lineup and learning hard. He has a great guy to study under.
If Taylor was a 3rd year guy 'looking like a rookie' I'd be concerned. But since he is a rookie, I'm not worried.

he was a step late on making some big plays he shouldn't have even been close too, but he missed tackles and did look like a rookie... i think the biggest mistake was putting a PS caliber safety out there to cover the other side...
i'm not worried, but i'd love to see him retain his monster form as soon as possible ;)

That didn't make sense to play Ryan Clark on that side or in the game at all. I saw Clark sprinting out of the dungeon at Giants stadium and I wondered who the hell he was. He must have impressed Gregg Williams in practice to get in against little old Dallas. What a game to get your feet wet in.

I think ST is just something special and I think that even though he didn't look like Ronnie Lott yesterday, he definitely showed flashes of his playmaking abilities.
By the way, is it just me or can ST run like 200 mph?

It'll come. Rookies gotta learn, sometimes the hard way.
He had some nice pass defenses, very good closing speed. Missed that one tackle when he didn't wrap up, but he got in on some run plays, and he can fly. The TD was a tough trick play, HB opition, etc. Yeah, he got beat (as did Clark), but it'll help him learn. Keep the kid on the field, and he will get it.

taylor also almost had a pick when vinny threw to the sideline to jtmtdb. remember the play where he came up limping big time and tried to go back into the game? he was inches away from his first pick.

I think all Sean needs is one big play like an INT, forced fumble, or fumble return to get his confidence up and really get him going and "open the floodgates"...

it was st first monday nighter and he's a rookie. coles dislocated his finger on a pass thats why he looked so horrible. the officiating lost the game for us and bad use of a challenge.
