I think RT simply because it is the most important. All the others we have decent options with varying degrees of skills. At RT we are rally looking for one guy to stand out amongst what could be some serious mediocrity. I hope someone just shines and entrenches them self by game 3 but we'll see.

based on smoots regulations, recievers has to be it. four receivers are guaranteed a spot with roydell, marko, and hagans left. those three all bring something different to the table. it really depends on what zorn is looking for. experience? roydell. height? youth? marko. versatility? hagans.

Haggans is only 5-10. News pundits are starting to talk highly of Trent Shelton 6-0. You also forgot Jaison Williams 6-5 who looked good and impressed in camp. Then you left out Keith Eloi 5-10 who also impressed and has speed similar to Moss. Just pointing out.

I picked RT. I know Heyer has been named starter but they didn't hire MW to simply see if he could be a story book and with Buges I think they want him to start if he can.

The sad fact is I'm happy we finally have more Lineman on both sides in case of injuries but we can't keep them all. Then I like all the new WR talent but again we can't keep them all. I'm excited to see all the RB's and hope one of the faster guys; Dorsey, Alridge can beat out either Rock or Betts, but again we can't keep them all. There's a lot of nice talent so I know I will be upset with some of these guys being let go whether they are Vets or Rookies.

Jaison Williams (along with Derek Walker) was cut today.

I said RT. I pray that this is correct.

I think that receivers may sort themselves out in terms of clearly different levels of performance for the most part.

I pray that at RT everyone will have performed quite well, making them to be about equally good, thus making the decision for the week 1 start a difficult one. If this situation occurs, RT will not be the problem that many fear.

I think the battle for Mike Williams right now is to get in shape and make the team. If he's the starter by opening day, it's a miracle. I do think he'll make the team, but if he beats out Heyer in the short time he's had, I'll be surprised. Heyer hasn't just been sitting on his ass since last season.

I definitely agree. Heyer is no slouch and I think he's determined to win the RT job. I voted for the CB battle, because you need to have 3 solid CB's to cover WR's especially in the NFC East. I think Barnes has a shot to take the job from Smoot.

In the words of Johnny Carson..."I did not know that." Thanks.

Good point 53!

vallin, as for Barnes, see the article below. Barnes got a 41 on the Wonderlic. While the Wonderlic is an imperfect measure, we still have reason to think that he may pick up the defense quickly from a mental standpoint.

ASHBURN, Va. (AP)—The Washington Redskins signed third-round draft pick Kevin Barnes(notes) to a four-year deal with a $782,500 bonus.

Barnes is a cornerback who played at Maryland and was the 80th overall pick in April.

Also Thursday, the Redskins cut two rookie free agents: defensive end Derek Walker of Illinois, and wide receiver Jaison Williams of Oregon.

Barnes started all 20 games he played over the last two seasons at Maryland.

He posted the highest score (41) on the Wonderlic logic-thinking test given to prospects at this year’s NFL Combine and is also well-known for a big hit that became an Internet sensation. Barnes leveled California’s Jahvid Best last season, leaving Best on the ground several minutes before the running back vomited.

Sir....you are probably correct. I just thin MW will be supprising people. He was supposed to be the best of the best of the best when he came out of college. True he's had his issues with injuries, sat out, and gained weight, but I don't think he has lost all his abilities to block. He's healthy, and he's lost wieght. That's half the battle. Hopefully he has built up his endurance. He had Buges working with him practically one on one. Now he's out in Arizona with Dock, Heyer and another player working on all facets of the game....strength, endurance, and technique.

I like Heyer, I rooted for him cause he was not drafted, but he has had trouble with run blocking in the past. Now if he has fixed this problem then keep him where he's at but if he's still struggling use someone else. Honestly I hope he has been working on this and RT is not an issue. Then we can rotate the other lineman to keep fresh legs on the field or in case of injuries.

I voted RT, but now that Vick is going to be back in the league, I say cut Todd Collins,
and I'll change my vote to 2nd QB.....
