Craziest Local Delicacy?

Well they've spread a bit but fried pickles are the rage down here.

Clam Cakes are very popular in RI where I grew up. They are kind of like hush puppies but with clam in them. They are actually really good.

I also love scrabble but that seems to be everywhere now a days.
scrapple could possibly be better than bacon as a breakfast meat

it's not as versatile in other uses though
