The Ascent of Money [Archive] - Commanders Post at The Warpath

Hey I want to mention that there is a great mini series on PBS called the Ascent of Money based off of the book of the same name. It airs every Wednesday night at 9pm down here and I would assume everywhere else.

I watched part 1 of 4 last week and it was truly great. I am a firm believer of any book that's good enough to read will be / has been made into a movie or show. A co worker listened to it on tape a while back and said it was about 9 hours, so I think the 4 part series may be a little condensed, but at least its got pictures.

I believe they replay a lot so you should still be able to watch part 1 still. Part 2 is on bonds and one of their earliest uses: the financing of wars.
