5 fewer ints isnt much when i just showed that he checksdown to guys 3-5 yds short of the first down and has HORRID stats on 3rd down.

Improvement with JC will be when he gets us in the playoffs not increasing his TDs by a few and decreasing his ints by a few

You didn't read redskinsgirl's fine post above, did you?

While I would love for JC to be our leader in the playoffs, there are 21 other positions on the field which your comment doesn't account for.

You need to have more than "it" to make it as a starter in the NFL. And you really don't see a quirky motion with Colt? I mean, it's not like it can't work. Kosar was the ugliest passer ever and Jeff George had one of the best arms. But Bankrupt Bernie's NFL career will be remembered more fondly. And it's not like Campbell can't and hasn't made plays before (see Saints game 2008)

The only thing I notice about colt is his side arm release I don't see a quirky motion, and as long as that ball goes from him to the receiver and not a defender then hell, I don't care if he throws the ball under hand or punts it for gods sake...have any of you ever thrown a ball side armed, I have with my son, and I throw a pretty damn good spiral and accurate when I do that

A side arm release IS a quirky motion. And a side arm may suit you well in the back yard, but try using that motion to throw over tall linemen charging with their hands up. There are good reasons why there are not more side armers in the NFL.

Ok Stat wise JC threw more tds this yr with 13. 4 came in 2 games so thats 9td passes in 14 games. 5 games where he didnt get a wr in the endzone. not very impressive when you think that the WCO is a QB driven offense.

Where ANY of Colts passes batted down in the preseason? how bout in the OTA's?? I read Skins.com and there wasnt any such thing being said about him. usually it was him being involved in one of the better plays of the day during that practice. correct me if im wrong.

I could care less you all think Jason is the answer...I got news for you all...he's not..like I've said before and I'll say it again Jason is a conservative QB, in order to win in this league you need to take chances, which is not what JC does

You must be joking. Redskins.com always puts the best spin on everything. Colt could have had every pass knocked down in OTA's and Redskins.com would never mention it.

Back to JC, you failed to mention that his rating went up and turnovers went down. 5 fewer interceptions is a bigger deal than you seem to understand.

We could care less if you think Jason isn't the answer. Getting a good/great QB isn't the answer without make upgrades in other positions. Drew Brees is a good QB who team didn't make the playoffs. Kerry Collins is an okay QB who teams went to the playoffs. It takes more than great QB play to make the playoffs and win the superbowl. The point I think some people on here are trying to make is Jason doesn't get all the blame why the skins fell apart. He does get some of the blame, but so does his teammates, the coaches, and the FO.

My question to you and Buchanan is how come other teams with subpar QB play can still make the playoffs and even win superbowls, but the skins can't?

Not trying to be (much of) a smartass here, but you really want to use Danny and Vinny as positive comparisons to your football IQ?

I'm just saying that one thing we have/had in common is that we know JC isn't the answer and wanted to fix that with getting a great young QB like cutler
