I thought he answered a lot of questions tonight. He still has plenty of arm, and he's starting to settle in to the offense. What did you guys think?

25/43 325 yards 2 TD's 0 int's

He sure looked the part tonight.. I'd feel great if he strings 2 or 3 games like this together.

He still looks sloppy in the pocket, and what's with all the stumbling out of the snap? Seemed to be a lot of tipped passes as well.

He also seems disorganized getting to the line, which showed in the poor TO management. He's not the only one to blame of course, and I hope it can be attributed to the team getting to know the offense.

That being said, I definitely thought it was his best game of the year. It was great to see that's he's able to throw downfield with authority. That was the best part for me.

Great to have a solid 1-2 QB punch (IMO).

Very nice stats, I'd say!!! And at least 2 very easy catches DROPPED. VERY good night for Brunell.

Crazy, you must have been watching a different game. I don't know what you mean about sloppy in the pocket!! He stumbled one time again because an OL stepped back on his foot AGAIN. I was extremely happy to see a QB finally show up. Now, they just have to keep this offense wide open.

I just found the rhythym was lacking in the first half, but I agree Brunell had a very good game.

He look's slow out there, especially when he has to role right, and turn to throw lefty, I do think that this team has a way's to go before we see the old Gibb's offense out there, even an experienced QB is having trouble getting acclamated to this system, that's a good sign for Ramsey, it show's that it takes time to learn this offense, starting to remind me of 81' when it looked like Gibb's might not make the season.

Brunell made the first step toward being a true Redskin in this game. Before tonight he was a Jaguar with an Indian on his helmet.

Brunell started to come alive for the first time in a Redskin uniform tonight after the sluggish start. John Madden with his usual insight pointed it out just when he started to get sparked in the second quarter.

The touchdown throw to Gardner with the game in the balance - it does not get better than that, manuevering to avoid the sack and throwing that frozen rope into the end zone.

He made a statement. He just needs to build on it. He has to show that kind of leadership not just in the most charged emotional circumstances like tonight, but consistently.

You can't question his arm. Brunell has a strong arm. Is he going to need to improve his conditioning a little with all the designed rollouts and the pressure? He will, but he found his second wind on the last two drives and made the big plays.

Brunell has to have the passion to win, the desire to be a Redskin champion. This was a real step forward.

Brunell accomplished quite alot tonight. I could tell he was in pain in the 2nd half. I'd rather have him than Warner, Testaverde or Jeff George. Proud of the leadership Brunell had tonight and his strength and confidence to stay in and make a go of winning the game w/ 21 secs remaining and no TO's. OL remains suspect. Samuels seems hurt and continued to struggle. Keep the faith skins fans. We've lost by a total of 9 pts in the last 2 games and we are facing continuing adversity from injuries, blown ref calls and penalties - 87 yds in penalties OUCH!

After watching the second half, I firmly believe Brunell gives us the best chance to win at this point. He did look a little rattled a few times under pressure (patted the ball under duress), but he more than held his own on a number of blitzes.

I'm glad he came back to play despite his bad hamstring- i'm thinking he wants to shed his injury-prone reputation by grinding though it. If anything, it gives Patrick more time to learn the O.
