That fat f*ck isn't going anywhere...then again, he might be able to procure oxycodone and hydrocodone much easier elsewhere.
12thMan 03-22-2010, 07:48 PM LOL...I got the same exact buddy sitting a few cubical away. Poor guy was really upset today as if his team lost the Super Bowl or something and wouldn't hear any of Frum's articles. Is your buddy still enamored with Ronald "The Greatest Conservative Who Ever Lived" Reagan and the possibility of him rising from the grave like mine?
These guys have yet to figure out that 1) they're not in control, 2) Obama was more or less elected to do what he is doing, 3) Obama isn't as far left as they believe and is willing to work something out.
Oh well, they'll realize soon enough that Obama is a big mother f*cking deal. Hopefully after it's too late.
Damn, sounds like the same dude. But yeah, it's all about Ronald Reagan, which I can respect. But he governed during a very different era, and quite frankly, would have nothing to do with this bunch calling themselves Conservatives nowadays. He just wouldn't. Reagan wasn't an angry, vindictive man. I didn't agree with his policies (well I was too young to give a f*ck), but he didn't have this abrasive tone I see from some of our leaders today. On both sides of the aisle.
You're correct, he's not as left as they think but I hope they keep up the Socialist/Marxist campaign. It will only help that's for sure.
mredskins 03-22-2010, 09:01 PM My bank will not give people loans for property in New York City. That's like throwing money strait down the toilet. I get their calls every once in awhile. They drop NYC like it's supposed to impress the bumkins. You should hear them when I tell them, "Sorry, - - -Mortgage isn't going to give you a loan in NEW YORK CITY" New York, Hawaii, and California might as well be ocean liners with three fish in em each. They're going down buddy.
How is Fairfax not in Northern Virginia? Genius? You're probably right, I'm not a real estate genius. I can build and draft a house to code though. Can you?
You missed my point you can build a $50k home in NOVA but if you put it next to a metro station it will be worth some serious money, regardless of the actual cost building it. Location, location, location.
In all honest I am the idiot for trying to hold a conversation with you, after your comments in the Haiti thread I wrote you off and I should have kept it that way. It is ashame you are a Redskins fan I hate to think I have something in common with someone like you.
GMScud 03-22-2010, 09:31 PM Solid article from Sunday's Washington Post:
The Take: Historic win or not, Democrats could pay a price (http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2010/03/20/AR2010032003349_pf.html)

It's a shame I have to pay taxes for you. You and those damned Haitians can stick it. Not a bloody tear for either of you.

I'm no Democrat, but Rush is such a blowhard. He's not going anywhere. He loves political controversy because it offers him the opportunity to further stir the pot with his rhetoric, and buzz creates more listeners. He's become a billionaire by doing so.
He's a guy who I wish would just go away.

I hate to say this but I've enjoyed listening to him in the past if for nothing more then the fact that he talks crazy. I remember when I got my tonsils out and somehow ended up on an AM Radio kick that I would frequently listen to him, this lasted about a week or two. The most recent time came about two weekends ago when I was on a 3 hour road trip and got to listen to him for about 30 minutes before he went off the air.
Reminds me of the Dr. Nora episode on Frasier.
Kenny: Hey, Dr. Crane.
Frasier: Ah, Kenny, just the man I wanted to see.
Kenny: Dr. Nora — don't hit me! [laughs]
Frasier: I want to talk to you about Dr. Nora's show.
Kenny: Yeah, well, get in line. The switchboards were going nuts.
Frasier: I don't doubt it.
Kenny: They love you!
Frasier: Excuse me?!
Kenny: Well, except for the ones that hate you. But either way,
they're listening. So you consider that option picked up.
George: Ten seconds.
Nora: Thank you, Kenny. Now get out of my booth.
Kenny: [acting scared] Ooh! [then, obedient] Yes, ma'am.

I heart your signature. :)

Lol, I heart it to. Not as fancy as Smootsmacks "avatar sigs" but at the same time just as vague.
