You're going to get ****ed either way, man. Either it's uncle sam doing the thrusting or private corporations. At least public officials are somewhat accountable. Pure, unadulterated capitalism is NOT the answer to every question.

You and I share VERY similar political views. I wrote in another thread a while back that no national official has directly affected my life in one way or another save two instances (Cash for Clunkers and Stimulus Check). I think this has potential to eventually touch my day-to-day life but the Democrats are so smug and the Republicans are so whiny it's taking away from the real issues.

Cops are saying it was random..whatever that means. I'm just glad no one was injured. Looks like a gun was shot in the air and not directly at the window.

And from what Obama and the Dems were saying this was supposed to be about health care????? Baucus a little "off message", letting the truth slip out.

FOXNews.com - Democratic Senator: Health Care Law to Address 'Mal-Distribution of Income' (http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2010/03/26/democratic-senator-health-care-law-address-mal-distribution-income/?test=latestnews)

Obama is definitely keeping his promise.....to "spread the wealth around".

As I said before, what is up next?

Prepare yourselves folks. There are people out their with nothing to do and want to make a name for themselves. First cigaretts. Now health care. Soon to be soft drinks. I can only hope that when they screw with my cola shortly behind will be coffie and alcohol. Soda makes kids fat. How about monitering what your kids drink as a parent. Oh wait that would require actually being a parent.

What's funnier is they talk about soda in schools. I can't vouch for all schools but the high schools in Stafford VA do have soda machines that are turned off during the day time so kids don't have access to them. I know the Federal Gov. has commented in regards to this and I thought all schools in VA can't sell soda to kids during school hours. I don't have a problem with this.

What I find funny is take all the soda machines out of the school completely and you will see the kids bringing them with them. They already are bringing the Amp, and Monster drinks with them. I see kids packing soda cans in their lunches they bring. It may be cold but it beats water, milk and juice.

How about the Feds just make sure the law is not broken and stay out of my health care and religion? Oh religion. I can't wait till the Feds start takling that issue.

Yea the news reported that a brick was thrown through the window of Driehaus office window. That person must have had a great arm because his office is on the 32nd floor. No rocks through Driehaus’ Cincinnati office window (http://www.examiner.com/x-16044-Christianity--Politics-Examiner~y2010m3d26-No-rocks-through-Driehaus-Cincinnati-office-window)
