www.facebook.com/whateveryouwanthere

a lot of facebook staff, media, celebrities, and businesses already have theirs, you can check by typing

www.facebook.com/whatyouwant to see if the page already exists

I wouldn't be too shocked if some people lose names that they managed to get if someone really wants it later on (a guy that I know used to have myspace.com/dmc and then run-dmc filed a trademark claim and got it taken over)

countdown is here:

I presume this is their attempt to compete with Twitter?

Facebook is nice and all I guess. But this social networking stuff is so overblown. I'm not sure whether I'm more sick of hearing about Twitter or steroids in sports.

not so much as compete with myspace and requests to actually have readable names rather than user numbers

I sign on twice a month or so to my personal account

however I created some a week ago when I got the news so that I could register names like (these aren't ones that I have just an example):

facebook.com/business
facebook.com/insurance
facebook.com/advertisements

etc in hopes that someone will want to buy them, there's a big web market out there and hopefully somebody gets a twinkle in their eye about putting their web marketing on fb
