Our old friend Trent Green retired

Green did have an impressive 4 year stretch. I don't think most people realize just how prolific he was during that time.

Wished he could have been here for his best years

Trent definitely put himself with some really nice company by posting 3 consecutive 4,000+ yard seasons, with highest total being 4,591.

Trouble is no rings (as a starter) and no major noise in the playoffs overall.

What impressed me most is that he did it without a true #1 reciever. Sure he had Tony Gonzalez, but not much talent on the outside.

Imagine what he would have done if he didn't get hurt with the Rams
