Glad I found this --- it lists when each NFL player will become a free agent.

WalterFootball.com: 2010 NFL Free Agency and Beyond - Expiring Contracts (http://walterfootball.com/freeagentscontracts.php)

We're pretty set it looks like. Obviously Campbell will be a big decision that we'll have to make after we see how he plays in '09, and we have to keep Rocky and Rogers. One of them can be franchised, and the other will have to be extended before March to be safe.

I think if there is no cap none will be free agents. I think to be a free agent you have to have 6 years in the league, not 100% sure but I think thats what I saw. Also I think each team will be allowed to franchise 3 players which could also solve that problem.

You're right about 6 years, and it's one franchise tag, two transition tags

Either way, isn't it pretty early to be talking about all this?

Definitely not; I'd say that entering the conversation now would be fashionably late if anything. That's not to say that an uncapped year is imminent, just that the idea is present enough for nearly anyone to consider by now.

At least it's better to talk about this than the crap articles by some people (IMO)..

Um...I meant too early to be talking about who the 2010 free agents are

Rogers, I believe, also has to opt out of his final two years to become a free agent, which might not happen if it's only going to make him an RFA.

As of right now, none are becoming a UFA after the season. This list also includes Montgomery, Golston, Chris Wilson, Reed Doughty, Shaun Suisham, and Lorenzo Alexander. All RFAs in the current format, but their contracts are expiring, and normally, they'd be eligible for UFA.

Heyer will be an RFA no matter what. Yoder, Daniels, Wynn, Hunter Smith, James Thrash, Mike Williams, Robert Thomas, Mike Sellers, and Jeremy Bridges are all UFAs no matter what.

No its very important that we review the situation now and take any and all the nessary steps to correct any issue we might find concerning our free agents next year. You know after training camp, preseason, regular season, playoffs, SB, probowl, then we need to be prepared for free agency. If we wait until then a player might slide under the radar and gone for good. The tough part is factoring in how a player plays this year, behaves on and off the field, and any injuries that might occure.
